HAND SURGERY

A broad speciality that covers many types of procedures, plastic hand surgery seeks to restore function of the hand and treat symptoms of pain and discomfort. Common reasons for hand surgery include injuries to the hand, arthritic and degenerative changes to the structures of the hand, compression of nerves and differences present at birth.

Dr Armstrong is a Fellow of The European Board of Hand Surgery (FEBHS) and offers a full range of elective and trauma treatment for patients with hand problems in adults and children.

In most cases, patients should be able to go home the same day as surgery.
