Working with young patients, from babies to children and young adults up to the age of 18. Paediatric surgery involves general forms of surgery as well as specialist procedures, often for congenital abnormalities.

As part of a national multidisciplinary team, Dr Armstrong is a specialist on complex congenital disorders and undertook a paediatric plastic surgery fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Alex was also sponsored The Royal College of Surgeons to visit eight Hypospadias units as part of a travelling fellowship.
