Alex is an advisor for healthcare providers and individuals seeking expertise on regulatory preparedness.

As a Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Alex has helped develop the inspection methodology for cosmetic surgery, inspected many healthcare environments and advised them how to demonstrate ‘Outstanding’ characteristics.

Alex is also a founding Trustee of the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority, an organisation formed to improve safety in the non-surgical aesthetic sector. This includes procedures such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation and laser treatments.

Due to the pandemic, numerous surgeons search for greater autonomy and many look to build their own clinic and theatre space. Together with his business partner Mark Mikhail, Alex founded MA Healthcare Consulting. MA Healthcare help to register these environments with regulators, assist in policy production and offer ongoing advice.
